Banquet Server Resume


A banquet server can find employment typically at hotels with a banquet hall. The other job option available to a banquet server is at celebration halls where food is served to a group. He/she is responsible for serving food to guests, arrangements of tables, curtains, arrangement of the food counters, welcoming the guests, etc.
The banquet server should be smart looking with good communication skills, with a special training of soft skills. It is important for the banquet server to be presentable and sophisticated to all sorts of guests. The job duties of a banquet server can be roughly divided into three parts as before, during and after serving of the meal. The first category includes tasks such as arrangements and organization of the food.
The second category includes major tasks like serving the meal and monitoring other requirements of the guests. The last category can includes clearing of used plates before handing it over to the dishwashers, rearrangement of the tables for the further activities, etc.
