Data warehousing is the storing of data on the computer system of an organization in a systematic manner. The data is classified before storing and should not be alterable once stored. Business intelligence teams require data warehousing professionals as data modelers, data managers, data migration specialists, data architects, data mining specialists and business data analysts. This requires a bachelor's degree and, in some cases, a masters degree in computer science or information science or related fields. Experience with data modeling tools and design models is essential to fine tune the technical knowledge.
