Sample Clerical Resume

A clerk performs duties like filing, record keeping, attending to correspondence and the service / sales counter, answering phones, making photocopies and printing documents, typing, data entry, taking signatures, preparing envelopes, greeting customers and handling other errands. Although no special qualifications are needed, a person trained as a typist, telephone operator, data entry operator and in other such areas is preferred. Likewise, experience is given priority. The resume illustrates this point with a candidate who has completed junior college and courses in typing, data processing and clerical. He is experienced in sorting mail, data entry, bank depositor etc.
