A teacher aide, also called as teaching assistant is the one, who aids senior teachers in performing many of the duties related to teaching. They help the teachers with insignificant clerical tasks, thus leaving them with more time for other more important tasks like planning lessons. Sometimes, teacher aides are also assigned with some important tasks like giving lectures or else coordinating exams or checking the answer papers.
