Stage Management Resume

Stage Managers are in charge of the stage and the backstage during the rehearsal and live performance of plays. He takes instructions from the director and handles all issues like lights, background scenery, entries of characters, use of props, sound, costume changes etc. after final instructions by the director. Stage Managers need good technical and artistic skills with the ability to multi task and make correct decisions under pressure. A degree or diploma in stage management can be useful, but experience is more important. The candidate in this resume has stage managed for numerous plays for two theater companies.
