Advertising is to persuade an audience to purchase products, services or ideas of a certain entity through different forms of communication. An advertiser needs to grab the viewer’s attention through a subtle mixture of style and substance. The style of an ad requires creativity while the substance part should answer the possible questions in the audience’s mind. Therefore an advertiser’s resume needs to emphasize the ability to handle media and graphics, frame appealing and concise advertising content and work within the budget. Experience reflects these, but for freshers the theoretical aspects will be more important.
