Civil engineer technicians are responsible for variety of projects that they do under the direction of Project Managers. This position is also responsible for giving support to other engineers or engineering team in designing. They also work as communicator with professional staff and with other staff also.

Civil engineer technicians carry out all the tests regarding to construction materials and prepares tabulations and sketches to support civil engineers. The candidate looking for this position must be having a degree in civil engineering with extra knowledge of AutoCAD. They do various other duties regarding to civil engineer technician as needed.

• Worked using Auto CAD and land development programs.
• Designed sewer profiles and plans using pipe tools.
• Terrain tools are also used and build Existing Ground Surface in which break lines, contour data and point data are inserted for building process.
• The programs like haws notes are used in the construction of notes on Storm Drain, Water, Sewer, Grading, Striping, Paving Plans and many more.
• Responsible for creating PDF files and used color scanners and software like Adobe Photoshop.
• Created Excel spreadsheets to link them to AutoCAD files.
• Enquiry tools are used to find out the Grate elevations, Rim elevations and other point elevations.
