A lift, which is the short form of a forklift, is used in industries for lifting, moving and placing heavy objects. These are a better alternative for overhead cranes and are used for moving small loads over small distances. The forklifts are either mechanically or electrically powered. These are used in a plethora of applications including but not limited to, construction, mechanical production, poultry industries, etc. A forklift driver has to be agile and able to manoeuvre the truck through several obstacles lying in his way.
